List of authorized legal entities for determining the healing properties of natural healing factors
The Ministry of Health authorizes a legal entity that meets the requirements of the Ordinance on norms and standards for the provision of health services in health tourism ("Official Gazette" No. 3/2024) for a period of five years to determine the healing properties of individual natural healing factors.
Determining the healing properties of a natural healing factor is performed by a legal entity that meets the following requirements:
In addition to these requirements, in order to determine the healing properties of thermal mineral water, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of thermal mineral waters; to determine the healing properties of peloids, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of peloids; to determine the healing properties of seawater, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of seawater; to determine the healing properties of climatic medicinal agents, a legal entity must be able to cooperation with the institute responsible for performing meteorological and hydrological activities; to determine the healing properties of naphthalene, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of naphthalene.
Determining the healing properties of a natural healing factor is performed by a legal entity that meets the following requirements:
- It has been engaged in the work and research of natural healing factors for more than 10 years
- It has at least two specialist doctors of medicine with a scientific-teaching title or professional title or two specialist doctors of medicine with at least five years of specialist experience in the relevant field, depending on the natural healing factor for which the healing properties are to be determined
- It has experts of other professions who participate in the work and research of natural healing factors
- It has access to the databases necessary to conduct scientific and professional research
- It has the possibility of providing appropriate professional and scientific education in the field of natural healing factors.
In addition to these requirements, in order to determine the healing properties of thermal mineral water, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of thermal mineral waters; to determine the healing properties of peloids, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of peloids; to determine the healing properties of seawater, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of seawater; to determine the healing properties of climatic medicinal agents, a legal entity must be able to cooperation with the institute responsible for performing meteorological and hydrological activities; to determine the healing properties of naphthalene, a legal entity must have the possibility of appropriate sampling and analysis of naphthalene.
